Minneapolis-St. Paul is the nation's 13th largest metropolitan area with a population just over 3 million. Duluth and Rochester are the state's other largest cities, with metropolitan area populations of over 200,000 and 100,000 respectively.
The "Land of 10,000 Lakes" is home to 1.5 million white-tailed deer, 25,000 black bears, 4,000 moose, and America's largest wolf population outside of Alaska.
