Leah Boomsma ’09 receives federal clerkship

Mitchell alumna selected for prestigious U.S. Court of Appeals clerkship

Leah Boomsma ’09 is one of a few law graduates nationwide to receive a federal appellate clerkship. After finishing her Minnesota Supreme Court clerkship this summer, she will clerk for Judge Kermit Bye, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trade Office David Kappos will share his vision for improving the USPTO in a free, public speech at William Mitchell, 4:30 to 6 pm, Tuesday, April 6.
