William Mitchell College of Law is committed to ethnic and cultural diversity among students, faculty, and staff. We understand the need for all in the legal system to appreciate the cultural context of different constituencies and work toward eliminating the barriers in the educational and legal systems. And we know that in today's global marketplace, many employers are seeking employees who can function well in a multicultural society.

Opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff to explore cultural differences and viewpoints happen throughout the year. Through the many multicultural organizations found on campus, students can expand their understanding of the law as it relates to other cultures as well as develop opportunities available to the entire campus. Students may also become involved in the surrounding area where there are active bar associations and culturally rich communities.
