Senior Financial Analyst
Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Schedule: Full Time
Reports To: Vice President, Finance
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for complex finance and accounting duties, including managing the college-wide budget process, preparation of management reports, analysis of financial data, maintenance and reconciliation of individual endowment and restricted gift accounts, and assisting with audit preparation and process.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred); 5+ years accounting experience in audit, nonprofit or higher education preferred. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices; strong computer skills and ability to work with office software including basic Word and intermediate to advanced Excel; superior attention to detail; strong customer service skills; ability to work under tight time frames and with a fair amount of time pressure; excellent written and oral communication skills; and strong team building skills. Some evening or weekend hours required.
