To maintain eligibility for federal financial aid, students must be making satisfactory academic progress toward their degrees. Academic progress is measured qualitatively, quantitatively, and incrementally.
A student’s cumulative G.P.A. must be at least 2.0, or if below 2.0, the student must meet the Academic Affairs Committee’s requirements for Academic Probation.
A student must complete his or her J.D. degree within six (6) years of matriculation.
To ensure that students progress toward completion of their J.D. within the maximum time frame, students must complete a minimum number of credits by the end of spring semester of each year:
| Year | Credits |
|---|---|
| One | 14 |
| Two | 28 |
| Three | 42 |
| Four | 56 |
| Five | 71 |
| Six | 86 |
