National Security Forum pairs with MPR for discussion with national intelligence reporters
William Mitchell’s National Security Forum and Minnesota Public Radio present a conversation on U.S. security with the nation’s top intelligence reporters.
MPR’s Midmorning host Kerri Miller will lead a discussion among Mark Mazzetti of The New York Times, Walter Pincus of The Washington Post, and Siobhan Gorman of the Wall Street Journal at 7 pm Thursday, Nov. 5 in the UBS Forum at Minnesota Public Radio, 480 Cedar St., St. Paul.
The reporters will talk about the national security challenges facing the Obama administration and the challenges of reporting on sensitive national security issues.
The event is free but seating limited. The discussion is scheduled to be broadcast at 9 am Monday, Nov. 9 on KNOW (91.1 FM in Minneapolis and St. Paul).
William Mitchell’s National Security Forum, directed by Professor Afsheen John Radsan, exists to foster an ongoing dialogue on balancing individual liberty and public safety.
The forum hosts panels, seminars, and other events, featuring national security experts, scholars, and policy-makers.
