Reference librarians may assist patrons in selecting and using legal materials, but we cannot, by law, give legal advice or interpret legal authority.

Our primary mission is to serve the research and educational needs of William Mitchell students, faculty and staff.  While the library and materials are available for the use of attorneys, students from other law schools and members of the general public, and we will assist as much as we are able, we are unable to provide extensive research help to those patrons.
