As the number of Asian Pacific American law professors swells, we've set our sights on administrative leadership positions and academic scholarship opportunities in law schools. This year’s conference will explore strategies for opening doors, while minimizing obstacles.

Friday Evening Dinner at the Kikugawa, followed by dessert at Mitchell President and Dean Allen K. Easley's home
Lectures and Panels on how to advance into leadership roles in education, national organizations, and politics
In 1994, Boston College Law School hosted the first national gathering of Asian Pacific American (APA) law teachers, and CAPALF was launched. Since then, as the number of APA law faculty has grown, our organization has become a non-profit corporation with a mission of contributing to the well-being of Asian Pacific American communities. We are equally dedicated to creating a professional network and hosting conferences for faculty and graduate students in law and related disciplines. CAPALF encourages the participation not only of Asian Pacific Americans, but all those whose work relates to issues significant to APA communities.
Conference fee of $175 includes refreshment breaks, 1full breakfast, 2 luncheons, and a dinner.
Friday evening dinner Important notice! Because registration for CAPALF greatly exceeded our expectations, we have relocated the Friday evening dinner to a larger restaurant, the Kikugawa. (Origami, the original restaurant, had a maximum capacity of 30, leaving at least five attendees on a waiting list.) Following dinner, we will walk a few blocks from this river-front restaurant to Dean Easley’s home for after-dinner drinks and desserts. If you haven’t already registered for the Friday dinner, please do so as soon as possible, either online or by contacting Meg Daniel. We need an accurate count for purposes of reserving the appropriate space.
