Centers and institutes allow students to gain real-world experience by working closely with faculty and attorneys who are leading scholars, policymakers, and practitioners in these specialized areas of law.

Legal Practice Center

The heart of Mitchell's practical legal education, the Legal Practice Center is where students get real-world learning opportunities through skills courses and top-ranked clinical programs. Each year, more than 200 students put the theories they've studied in classrooms to work on as many as 600 legal maters for real clients.

Center for Negotiation & Justice

Students work with expert negotiators and leading scholars in dispute resolution to develop conflict- and dispute-resolution skills.

National Security Forum

Students get a front-row seat to the ongoing dialogue about the balance between liberty and security featuring top national security experts, scholars, policymakers, and journalists.

Center for Elder Justice & Policy
