At William Mitchell, using your talents as a
lawyer to help those in need is just as important as learning about
the law. That value of
public service is integrated into all aspects of the college, from the
clinic program to the events planned by William
Mitchell’s student organizations.
From your first day of law school and continuing after graduation, you’ll find many opportunities to make a difference in the community, whether it’s teaching street law to high school students, serving as a student lawyer in one of our client representation clinics, becoming a public defender or legal aid attorney, or advocating to change the law as a legislator or nonprofit director.
