Stephen P. Charbonnet is a principal and co-founder of Soffer Charbonnet Law Group, PLLC. Mr. Charbonnet practices in the areas of corporate finance, securities, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, general business transactions and general corporate counsel. Mr. Charbonnet’s experience includes representing companies and investors in a wide variety of venture capital and corporate finance transactions, both public and private. Mr. Charbonnet also counsels clients in the areas of licensing, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other commercial transactions. He has authored several articles and lectured on various business and finance issues. Prior to moving to Minneapolis, Mr. Charbonnet practiced in the Silicon Valley office of an international law firm and the Los Angeles office of a public finance firm. Mr. Charbonnet received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) and his undergraduate degree from Stanford University. Mr. Charbonnet is licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota and in the State of California.
