Robert Kuhns is a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP. A member of Dorsey’s Corporate group, Kuhns has extensive experience representing publicly and privately held companies in merger and acquisition transactions, SEC-registered public offerings, as well as emerging growth companies and investors in private placements and venture capital financings. His practice includes a broad range of corporate and securities matters, both U.S. domestic and international, including regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters. He also serves as general counsel to client companies and their management, advising them on day-to-day legal and other strategic issues.

Mr. Kuhns graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1988 and from the University of Texas School of Law in 1991, and is admitted to the State Bars of Minnesota, California and Texas. He also served as a Director of the Jacob Wetterling Foundation from 2001 to 2007, and is active as an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America.
