Sandra Smalley-Fleming focuses her practice on the defense of regulatory investigations and proceedings for the financial services industry, as well as disciplinary investigations and proceedings against lawyers and other professionals. She has extensive experience in the areas of securities and financial fraud, investor-broker and investment banking disputes, shareholder derivative and shareholder class actions, and other complex commercial litigation. Smalley-Fleming´s experience also includes representing clients confronted with investigations and disciplinary proceedings brought by the SEC, self-regulatory organizations such as the NASD, NYSE, state regulators and state disciplinary boards. She also has represented brokers and broker-dealers in arbitrations of customer claims and other federal and state securities law claims, as well as investment bankers in federal and state court in arbitraion hearings and trials across the country.
