Cheri Townsend has been a felony prosecutor with the Dakota County Attorney’s office since June 2005. She previously prosecuted methamphetamine manufacture and homicides for the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, she was the Appellate Coordinator for the Minneapolis City Attorney´s Office and was responsible for prosecuting a variety of misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases.
