Judge Jill Flaskamp Halbrooks was appointed to the Minnesota Court of Appeals in 1998. Prior to taking the bench she was a partner withr Rider Bennett focused on civil trial work in areas of railroad, insurance, products liability, and employment law.

She has bachelor´s and master´s degrees from the University of Colorado and a law degree from William Mitchell.
