C. David Dietz is an assistant Ramsey County Attorney and a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist. He has extensive trial experience as both a prosecutor and a civil litigator.

He served four years in the Marine Corps during Viet Nam and recently completed a 26-year term in the Minnesota National Guard, where he served in Kosovo in 2004.

Dietz has a master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pa. He received in his law degree from William Mitchell.
