Jenna Yauch-Erickson '11 receives presitigious federal clerkship
Jenna Yauch-Erickson ’11 says she’s been walking around in shock for a couple of weeks. The cause of her disbelief: a whirlwind of activity that landed her a coveted federal clerkship less than a month after she heard about the opening. At the eye of that whirlwind was a network of William Mitchell alumni which Yauch-Erickson says was instrumental in her getting the job.
Defense Department general counsel to speak at William Mitchell
A man who has been described as one of the most powerful and influential lawyers in the federal government will speak at William Mitchell College of Law from 6:30 to 8 pm Tuesday, March 6. Jeh Johnson, general counsel of the U.S. Department of Defense and a close security advisor of President Obama, will discuss emerging issues in national security and the law.
