Diplomas
Diplomas will be available to pick up the week of June 23 in the Student Services office, room 119. If you are not able to come to campus to pick up your diploma we can arrange to have it mailed to you. We recommend picking them up in person as they are quite large and do not mail well.
Bar Exam Information
Bar Exam Certificates of Graduation will be mailed the week of June 23. We will automatically send a certification for all January graduates to the Minnesota Board of Law Examiners. You do not need to do anything to request a Minnesota certification. If you are sitting for the bar in a state other than Minnesota you should receive a form with your application from that state. You need to provide that form to our Registrar’s Office, Room 119. If that state (any other than MN) requires a transcript as well you must sign a request for it and pay $3.00. We also will send those completed forms the week of June 23.
Bar Exam Releases of Information are now required to take the Minnesota Bar. The Minnesota Board of Law Examiners now requests a copy of your law school application. In order for us to provide this copy, you will need to sign a release allowing us to do so. We have hard copies in the Registrar’s Office, or you can print the attached form. Your release must be received by February 27, 2008 in the Registrar’s Office, room 119. Several other states are beginning to ask for this information as well. The release is a general release for all states, so you can sign it and return it regardless of where you will be sitting for the bar. This has been completed by all May and August 2008 anticipated graduates. Thank you.
